Jason,
Good Evening
Jennifer and I had the pleasure of getting to go fish the Adventure Denali lakes that Ol’ Kirk runs at Mile Marker 214.5 . We completely dug it and got to spend a bunch of time chatting with Kirk as he and I know a bunch of the same folks and have hunted some of the same area’s in the beloved Alaska range.
3 lakes, superb angling, in fact straight up killer fishing and really neat accommodations lakeside mind you!
Jen managed a 27 5/8 on a Dry Fly along with a 25” (Dry Fly as well). We fished all 3 lakes and fishing was super in all 3 of them. I would highly encourage you to get down there this summer as the operation poses many possibilities for you , Midnight Sun Fly Fisher’s and Big Ray’s, truly does !
All The Best

Pat,
Good Morning Good Sir
Writing to you regarding that Fishing Property I mentioned on the phone last week. Located at Mile Marker 214.5 on the Parks Hwy (Bordering Denali National Park) Adventure Denali is a unique and wonderful property that has been carefully managed for some years by Mr. Kirk Markitis a former Big Game Outfitter in the glorious Alaska Range. This 50+ acres features 3 distinct lakes along with several cabins. Each lake boast its own distinctive fishery featuring both feisty Rainbows (To 29”) and Arctic Grayling (To 21”). My wife Jennifer and I had the pleasure of visiting/fishing this playground June 17-19 and it was a dandy experience as all 3 lakes fished fabulously, like mega Pat.
Kirk would like to look for a buyer/steward for this property and he informed me that he would likely to stay on as Ranch/Property MGR in order to get New Ownership up and running over the course of the first 1-3 years.
Again, I would tell you Pat this is a pretty unique deal, one that would offer quite a private or commercial Shangri-La.
Kirk is CC’d above….Kirk meet Pat Lancaster
All The Best

THIS IS A EMAIL GEORGE SENT TO PAT LANCASTER OF WWW.MIRRRANCHGROUP.COM IN AN ATTEMPT TO HELP FIND A NEW OWNER FOR THIS SPECIAL PLACE.
We had the pleasure of having George and Jennifer Cook here to 'test the waters' I was hoping to have a couple of photos to add to this posting, but like most of our guest anglers, we rarely get photos to post, though it is clear they both had a great time, as did all of us. I (and my guides) learned so much from just a couple of hours talking with George.
For those of you who do not know of George Cook, just google his name with FLY FISHING, and you will see what an authority he is on fly fishing, stillwater, Rainbow Trout.
